It is important to know at any age!

The mass distribution of the moons of Neptune is lopsided. In fact, it is the most lopsided satellite system of any of the giant planets dwelling in our Solar System. Triton accounts for nearly all the mass of the system, with all of the other moons together accounting for only one-third of 1%. This is very similar to the system of moons that circle the ringed-planet Saturn, where the large, smoggy, orange moon Titan--the second-largest moon in our Sun's family (after Ganymede of Jupiter)--accounts for over 95% of the total mass of Saturn's system of moons.

and here is another

Over the years, several theories have been proposed to explain the mechanism involved in Triton's capture by Neptune. One theory suggests that Triton was snared in a three-body encounter. According to this scenario, Triton is the lone survivor of a binary Kuiper Belt Object (KBO) that had been fatally jostled during a destructive close encounter with Neptune.

and finally

However, weeks before New Horizons' scheduled arrival at its main target, it managed to reveal some strange secrets long-held in the deep freeze of our Solar System's outer limits. For their new study, released in June 2015, a team of planetary scientists collected all available NASA and European Space Agency (ESA) Hubble Space Telescope (HST) data on the four outer moons of Pluto in order to study this strange system in greater depth. Their observations reveal that at least a duo of Pluto's moons are not rotating on their axes in an orderly manner at all, but are instead in chaotic rotation while circling Pluto and its large companion moon, Charon--a moon-world that weighs-in at a hefty 11% of Pluto's mass. Charon is commonly thought to have once been a part of Pluto itself, before it was blasted off in a catastrophic collision with another object billions of years ago. The new study also suggests that one of the mystery moons has a bizarre jet-black coloring of unknown origin and composition. These truly amazing results appear in the June 4, 2015 issue of the journal Nature.

Methane and nitrogen present in Titan's atmosphere react together to create a variety of organic materials. Many planetary scientists think the heaviest materials somersault down to the surface of hydrocarbon-slashed Titan. Dr. Le Gall and her team propose that when those compounds splash into the sea, either by directly falling from the air as hydrocarbon rain, or through Titan's rivers, some are dissolved in the liquid methane. The compounds that do not dissolve, such as nitrites and benzene, sink down into the floor of this exotic sea.

The "chaos terrains" are those regions of the icy moon that are covered with shattered, scrambled, and rotated chunks of crust the size several city blocks. Galileo images show swirly and very rough-looking material between the broken blocks of ice, which indicates that the blocks may once have been lodged atop a bed of slushy stuff that ultimately froze at the very frigid surface temperatures of Europa.

Our Earth basks comfortably in the sunny, warmer, inner regions of our Solar System, and our Moon is the largest one of its kind, in this region, relatively close to our Star. Of the four rocky, terrestrial planets--of which our Earth is a member--Mercury and Venus are moonless, and Mars sports two small, misshapen little rocky moons, Phobos and Deimos, that are likely captured refugees from the main asteroid belt that circles our Sun between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
