A little interesting about space life.
Triton is unique among our Solar System's moons of planetary mass. This is because its orbit is retrograde to Neptune's rotation and inclined relative to Neptune's equator. This suggests that Triton was not born in orbit around Neptune, but was instead snared by the giant planet.
and here is another
In fact, in 18th century England, a murderer could plead "lunacy" if he had killed during a full moon and be given a lighter sentence than he would have otherwise received. So the observation and belief in a correlation between lunar phases and deviant human behavior dates back centuries.
and finally
In addition to the Giant Impact theory, there are several other models that have been proposed to explain how our Moon was born. One alternative model to the Giant Impact scenario suggests that Earth's Moon was once a part of our planet that simply budded off when our Solar System was in its infancy--approximately 4.5 billion years ago. According to this model, the Pacific Ocean basin would be the most likely cradle for lunar birth. A second model proposes that our Moon was really born elsewhere in our Solar System and, like the duo of tiny potato-shaped Martian moons, was eventually snared by the gravitational tug of a major planet. A third theory postulates that both Earth and Moon were born at about the same time from the same protoplanetary accretion disk, composed of gas and dust, from which our Sun's family of planets, moons, and smaller objects ultimately emerged.

"That thermally emitted radiation happens at the same wavelengths that we need to use to look for water. So in order to say with any confidence that water is present, we first need to account for and remove the thermally emitted component," Dr. Milliken continued to explain in the July 24, 2017 Brown University Press Release.
Mars hasn't always looked the way it does today. The planet suffered a monumental tilt billions of years ago. Before this great tilt occurred, the Martian poles were not where we see them now.
Earth's Moon is a brilliant, beguiling, bewitching companion world. The largest and brightest object in our planet's night sky, it has for eons been the source of wild magical tales, myths, and poetry--as well as an ancient symbol for romantic love. Some traditional tales tell of a man's face etched on its bright surface, while still others whisper haunting childhood stories of a "Moon Rabbit". Lovely, ancient, and fantastic stories aside, Earth's Moon is a real object, a large rocky sphere that has been with our planet almost from the very beginning, when our Solar System was first forming over four billion years ago. But where did Earth's Moon come from? In April 2014, a team of planetary scientists announced that they had pinned down the birth date of the Moon to within 100 million years of the formation of our Solar System, and this new discovery indicates that Earth's Moon was most likely born about 4.47 billion years ago in a gigantic collision between a Mars-sized object and the primordial Earth.
